About the Academy

The ShePOWER Leadership Academy (SPLA) is a non profit corporation designed to expand the number of female leaders, particularly focusing on urban success and redefining the description of leadership to include doing well at school, doing more good in the community and excelling in one's personal life while owning one's individual power. To that end, we assemble a group of ShePOWER Leaders who have the likelihood of significant accomplishments. The Academy selects individuals who are ready to grow and engage in preparation for successful leadership.
